Exam 1 Principal Parts (Hebrew Syntax)
Study Guides
- Only the principal parts of weak roots in the qal stem (Table 21.4 on page 149). Nothing else!
- Chapters 22–23 are NOT covered. They will be covered in the Exam 2.
- You will be required to type Hebrew (in all exams). You must be able to reproduce Table 21.4.
- For instance, if asked to give Qal yiqtol 3ms of אמר, you must be able to type יֹאמַר (including vowels, dageshes, etc. You don't need to type the accent and the metheg, however.).
- For instance, if you are asked to give the Infitive Construct of ישׁב, you should type שֶׁבֶת (without the accent), but NOT שֶׁ֫בֶת (with the accent).
- Please use the Biblical Hebrew SIL keyboard
